The collection includes material relating to India, Canberra, the Snowy Mountains and Papua New Guinea. (1) India: Include roneoed notes and programmes of the Delhi Training and Orientation Centre for Foreign Technicians in India, memoranda and cuttings on the official language question, booklets and cuttings on the partition, photographs of the Similar Conference in 1946 and a large number of newspaper cuttings and pamphlets. (2) Canberra: Include letters and speeches relating to Canberra in the 1930s, N.C.D.C. reports, typescript articles by Wigmore and publications relating to Canberra and the A.N.U., about five hundred photographs, newspaper clippings and letters, submissions and reports relating to a seminar on government of the A.C.T. (3) Snowy Mountains: Typescript reports, articles, speeches, and newspaper clippings. (4) Papua New Guinea: Include notes, articles and newspaper clippings relating to the Bougainville Copper project, pidgin, and women in Papua New Guinea.
